Convergence of Bellman-Harris branching processes

A limit theorem regarding the convergence of a sequence of normalized Bellman-Harris processes to an Jirina process (a branching process with a continuous phase space) is obtained.Translated from Ukrainskii Matematicheskii Zhurnal, Vol. 42, No. 6, pp. 827–832, June, 1990.     

Structure of a bimolecular crystal of 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane and methoxy-<Emphasis Type="Italic">NNO</Emphasis>-azoxymethane

The crystal structure of the bimolecular crystal of 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) and methoxy-NNO-azoxymethane (МАМ) (1:2) is studied. The CL-20 molecules adopt a ζ-conformation. The crystal structure is formed by layers of CL-20 and МАМ molecules, between which there are shortened NO^δ–?N^δ+O contacts of the neighboring CL-20 and МАМ molecules.     

Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis of the structure of methyl 4-methyl-3,5-dioxo-1-phenyl-2-oxaspiro [5.5] undecane-4-carboxylate

A single crystal X-ray diffraction study of the crystals of methyl 4-methyl-3,5-dioxo-1-phenyl-2-oxaspiro[5.5]undecane-⁴-carboxylate shows that phenyl and methoxycarbonyl substituents are in the equatorial position on the one side of the dioxopyran ring with twist boat conformation.     

Identification of archaeal proteins that affect the exosome function in vitro

Background  

The archaeal exosome is formed by a hexameric RNase PH ring and three RNA binding subunits and has been shown to bind and degrade RNA in vitro. Despite extensive studies on the eukaryotic exosome and on the proteins interacting with this complex, little information is yet available on the identification and function of archaeal exosome regulatory factors.

Reactions of isopropyl 2-(1-aryl-4,5-dioxo-2-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-3-yl)-2-oxoacetates with aromatic amines involve a pyrroledione-pyrroledione recyclization to form isopropyl 1-aryl-2-hydroxy-4,5-dioxo-3-[phenyl(arylamino)methylene]pyrrolidine-2-carboxylates. The crystal and molecular structure of (Z)-isopropyl 2-hydroxy-4,5-dioxo-1-phenyl-3-[phenyl(phenylamino)methylene]pyrrolidine-2-carboxylate was proved by XRD analysis.     

Three-component reaction of methyl 2,4-dioxo-4-phenylbutanoate and methyl 2,4-dioxopentanoate with aromatic aldehydes and propane-1,2-diamine and chemical properties of the products

The reactions of methyl 2,4-dioxo-4-phenylbutanoate and methyl 2,4-dioxopentanoate with a mixture of an aromatic aldehyde and propane-1,2-diamine, depending on the initial reactant ratio, gave 4-acyl-1-(2-aminopropyl)-5-aryl-3-hydroxy-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-2-ones and 1,1′-(propane-1,2-diyl)bis(4-acetyl-3-hydroxy-5-phenyl-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-2-one). Reactions of substituted 1-(2-aminopropyl)-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-2-ones with aromatic amines and hydrazines were studied, and the structure of one of the products, 5-(2-aminopropyl)-3,4-diphenylpyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrazol-6-one, was proved by X-ray analysis.

Ethyl 1-alkyl-4,5-dioxo-2-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxylates reacted with 3-arylamino-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-ones as carbon-centered 1,5-binucleophiles to give the corresponding substituted ethyl 1′-alkyl-3,3-dimethyl-1,2′-dioxo-5′-phenyl-1′,2,2′,3,4,10-hexahydro-1H-spiro[acridine-9,3′-pyrrole]-4′-carboxylates whose structure was proved by X-ray analysis.     

Search for a standard model Higgs boson in the H→ZZ→ℓ(+)ℓ(-)νν decay channel with the ATLAS detector

A search for a heavy standard model Higgs boson decaying via H→ZZ→→?(+)?(-)νν, where ?=e, μ, is presented. It is based on proton-proton collision data at √s=7 TeV, collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC in the first half of 2011 and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.04 fb(-1). The data are compared to the expected standard model backgrounds. The data and the background expectations are found to be in agreement and upper limits are placed on the Higgs boson production cross section over the entire mass window considered; in particular, the production of a standard model Higgs boson is excluded in the region 340相似文献
